FLOWER POWER- VANS
My Vans Collection – Digital Line Development
For my Vans collection, I drew inspiration from the spirit of Woodstock ‘66, capturing the energy, rebellion, and creative freedom that defined the era. I wanted to translate the raw, unfiltered essence of music, art, and self-expression into wearable designs that felt both nostalgic and modern.
I incorporated bold, psychedelic patterns, earthy tones, and distressed textures to reflect the DIY aesthetic of the ‘60s counterculture. Hand-drawn graphics, vintage-inspired typography, and embroidered details paid homage to festival fashion, while sustainable materials aligned with the era’s values of peace and environmental consciousness.
This collection was my way of reinterpreting a cultural movement through footwear—creating pieces that embody the carefree, expressive, and unapologetic spirit of Woodstock while remaining relevant for today’s generation.
